• 01What are The Irishman Pub's opening hours?

  We open at 12:00 every day. Sunday to Thursday we are open until 01:00, and Friday and Saturday until 03:00.

• 02When is happy hour?

  Happy hour runs every day from 12:00 to 19:00 — seven hours, every day of the year. Draught beer goes from 1,800 ISK to 1,100 ISK, and a glass of wine from 1,800 ISK to 1,100 ISK.

• 03Where is The Irishman Pub?

  We are at Klapparstígur 27, 101 Reykjavík — just steps off Laugavegur in the city centre. Our phone number is +354 581-2020.

• 04Is there an age limit?

  Yes, the age limit is 22 — both for the pub and for the karaoke room.

• 05Do you serve food?

  No, we don't serve food. It's all about the drinks here: draught beer, cocktails, wine, Irish coffee and shots.

• 06Is there live music?

  Yes, there is live music every evening.

• 07Do you show sports?

  We show the big matches, and you can also ask us to put a particular game on.

• 08What is Split the G?

  Split the G is the challenge of taking your first sip of Guinness so the foam line lands right through the middle of the G on the glass. We pour into proper Guinness glasses with the harp in the right place, so the challenge is a fair one.

• 09How much is the karaoke room, and how many people fit?

  The private karaoke room holds up to 20 people and costs 15,000 ISK per hour. The age limit is 22 and outside alcohol is not permitted.

• 10How do I book the karaoke room?

  Bookings are made online, on our karaoke page. You pick the date, time, length and number of guests, and you get a confirmation by email.

• 11When is the karaoke room available?

  The free slots are shown on the karaoke page: pick a date and you will see which times are still open that day.

• 12Do I have to pay for karaoke in advance?

  No, nothing is paid up front. You pay when you arrive.

• 13How do I cancel a karaoke booking?

  Let us know in good time: either through the cancellation link in your confirmation email, or by calling +354 581-2020.

• 14Are there drinks packages for the karaoke room?

  Yes. 24 Gull cans cost 30,000 ISK, a bottle of gin, rum or vodka 60,000 ISK, and both together 90,000 ISK. You choose the package in the booking form.

• 15Is there anything else to do at the pub?

  Yes — darts and our wheel of fortune, alongside live music every evening and the private karaoke room.

• 16What payment methods do you accept?

  We accept cards and cash. Prices are in Icelandic krónur.

• 17Is the pub wheelchair accessible?

  Yes, the pub is wheelchair accessible.

• 18Are you open over the holidays?

  Yes, our normal opening hours apply over the holidays, except on Christmas Eve when we are closed. Any change to that is announced.
